M&M Creations Fashion Design Contest 2009

Create an outfit BASED ON SCULPTED SHAPES with a WINTER-THEME.
The Judging will take place WENSDAY DECEMBER 16th at  1 pm PST.
Your designs will be shown for 20 minutes during an informal
gathering. (A closed event; only the jury, press, contestants and
models will be invited)

Prizes;
- The winning Designer will recieve a Voucher of 10.000 linden dollars
to spend at M&M Creations
- An Advertisement Banner for 3 months in the SL-Newspaper (value
10.000 linden dollars)
- The winning Outfit will be displayed at M&M Landing Point  and at
SL-Newspaper PLUS the winner will get an interview for the
Fashion-pages of SLN.

Rules
- Use your own textures, colours and amount of attached prims
- It must be a Winter-themed Outfit
- The outfit must contain Sculpties (the more the better)
- NO 'light' may used! ('bright' & 'glow' may used)
- The outfit must be complete with Shoes or anything that covers the feet
- Not too much bare-skin is visible, it is a winter-themed Outfit!
(that doesn't mean you can't be sexy)
- The Outfit must be worn for the Judging. (An avatar-model will do as
well ofcourse!)

TIP
-If you manage to make a Couples Outfit,  it will be an advantage
during the judgement!!

She began making shapes and even though her shop was small her clientele grew rapidly, and Shapes by Kira became an overnight success. Kira is also a co-owner of the Corrupted Innocence brand along with her business partner Alexxis Laszlo. Second Life is full of many people who make skin and shapes but Kira truly believes in putting out only quality material. There is nothing in her stores that she herself would not wear. Months ago Kira made a skin and sent it to bloggers. She got lots of feedback on that skin after its release and decided to create a new skin making changes to improve the overall quality of the skin and make it more appealing to potential customers.

MODAVIA FASHION MARKETING ANNOUNCES DESIGNER WARDROBE GIVEAWAY PRESENTATION:

September 14, 2009 - Modavia Fashion Marketing today announced plans for the next Designer Wardrobe Giveaway presentation to coincide with the Modavia Fashion Week event taking place September 10-17. The Giveaway is a regular monthly drawing that rewards one lucky subscriber to the Modavia Fashion Directory with a free designer wardrobe containing up to 45 couture outfits.

During the course of Fashion Week subscribers have been invited to visit Bryant Park, the venue for Modavia Fashion Week, and enter the drawing. Two winners will be announced immediately after the final show which will take place at 4pm on the 17th September. A total of 90 designs from 40 of the top couturiers in Second Life will be given away together with all the artwork contained in the last 2 editions of the Directory, that is, the 10th and 11th edition.

To avoid congestion on the sim winners will not be required to be present at the drawing but will be required to make themselves available for photographs within a week of the prize being awarded. Anyone can enter the Giveaway drawing providing they are current subscribers to the Modavia Fashion Directory. This contest is not open to staff, models, clients, sponsors or suppliers of Modavia. There are kiosks for signup located at many fashion retailers throughout Second Life, at the Modavia Headquaters and at Bryant Park during Fashion Week.

Club Velvet Manor throws its first Fashion Show – September 29, 2009

Modavia Productions Announces Show Lineup for Fashion Week

July 27, 2009 –
Modavia Productions, the fashion show production division of Modavia Fashion Marketing, will host Fall Fashion Week.
This week of fashion shows will feature a preview of the new Fall and Winter collections from 35 of SL's best designers.
A broad range of men’s and women’s fashion designs including couture, formal, casual, and lingerie will be showcased.
Shows will begin on September 10 and run through September 17. A total of 35 designers will be represented in Modavia Fashion Week 2009 in 4 to 5 shows daily, beginning at noon SLT at The Tents at Bryant Park in Second Life.
In addition to the fashion shows, participating designers will have on-site boutiques, offering designs seen in their shows and there will be gifts offered to attendees by many of the designers and sponsors.

We are delighted to announce that Studio Red Entertainment, Lost Angel Industries, and Damiani will sponsor the entertainment which will include live DJs at every show. By Alexander Fine Jewelry designed by Alexandar Vargas, InQConnections.com, WBA Advertising, SL Newspaper, and VAIN Inc will also provide sponsorship for the event.
