Tux 01, with the shirt from co ordinate o2 and the waistcoat from co ordinate 38.
Tuxedo 02 corodinate 05 and tuxedo 01 coordinate 38.
Tuxedo o1 coordinate 02 and tuxedo 01 coordinate 38 again.
For weeks I have been waxing lyrical about the Styles of Edo new tuxedo collection. I have told you about the multitude of variations available (Edo himself claims 96 variations, but if you buy the indiviual neck ties etc I am certain you can get more - but NINETY SIX VARIATIONS - and not a bad one amongst them!). I have sung the praises of the details, colours and texturing. I have whispered that Edo is a god among menswear designers.
Weeks ago I was hoping to bring you an article that was most pictures of a selection of the collection, unfortunately computers die, connections fry and things happen - so only now am I able to bring you that article. To end this article I would like to say that there are limitations to SL photography and to the quality levels I can get Blogger to reproduce for me - so this is by way of a teaser - these clothes are a hundred times better in world than I can manage to reproduce here.

I would also like to thank Minty Bachem for modelling (he is also available to escort ladies to any formal event - he even has the wardrobe), also much thanks to Hempy Weezles and Medow5571 Shilova for stepping into the breach when our photographer lost their internet connection leaving us somewhat in the lurch. Great job guys, thank you.

And again, gents, go - add at least one of these tuxedos to your wardrobe - then you too will be helping make SL a prettier place one male avatar at a time.

The “Crazy Tinies” - Loco Poco Avatars

The subject for this week's avatar article is a new brand of tiny av: Loco Pocos. Created by Damien Fate, these tinies were first available earlier this summer. Considering the uber-cutness of the avatar and the variety of facial expressions and emotes, the Loco Poco can only be called first-class, possibly *the* best tiny avatar in Second Life.

Tiny avatars I’ve seen are designed for a cute-factor in mind. Loco Pocos excel at it. The avatars are also designed to be easily customizable, the avatar able to change it’s coat and eye color, as well as able to wear wings and other attachments.

But what sets them apart from others is the ease of use of their animations, coming right with the avatar. The HUD unit allows the player to express a number of facial expressions and full body emotes. The facial features are not static, but change to reflect emotions. Plus they often make sound when emoting. With a press of the button, the avatar can look angry and “grrr,” to laying on the floor and snoring, to crying a shower of tears, to throwing a kiss with a “mwaah,” to a hearty belly laugh, and more.

The name Loco Poco translates to “crazy tiny” in Spanish, appropriately enough. The instructions are also in several languages. It’s also noteworthy that Torley Linden was among the beta testers of these tinies. The store is just in front of the main porting entrance. Avatars are sold in the center, accessories on the edge to the right of the door when entering. Their avatars cost 350L each, most of the accessories 100L. They also advertise an Avatar Rendering Cost (how much computer power it takes to make your avie appear) of 640.

After some thought, I decided to try out the Loco Poco fox. Showing it around to my freinds, they were amused by the versatile tiny, going “Awww” at the sight of it’s emotes. One told me he was thinking of getting one.

Besides Loco Pocos Island, you can also get the avatars at SLExchange.

Loco Poco also has an adventure-filled island, made with these avatars in mind. One that can provide hours of fun. Look for a detailed article of the island in the near future.

A charming little avatar.

Styling your Second Life with Firehorse

This week I have to apologise for the lateness of this article - due to circumstance totally beyond my control I was computerless for a couple of days. But from now on Styling your Second Life with Firehorse will be published on a Sunday - all things being equal.
This weeks challange was to make a tiny avatar for 500L$ a task far easier than any undertaken so far - and probably the most sucessful. First of all my deepest thanks to Bixyl, who was this weeks willing guinea pig.
I started off by visiting Wynx's (check Wynx Whplashs profile for the location of her main shop - she moves a lot). The avs created by Wynx are superb, the vendor pictures do not do them justice, and as well as the cuter, more typical tiny avs there is a fantastic rhino - an avatar with such power and presence that it really does punch well above it's weight. These avs are a testiment to the skill and craft of the maker, the detail is way above what you would usually see in any sort of avatar in SL - if there were complete human avs for sale this good, I would be out of business.
After much deliberation Bixyl opted for a squirrel av - which is so cute that only it's detailing save it from being nausiating.
The av comes with two gestures (waves I believe) but no AO - but after spending sometime wearing the av Bixyl assures me that it doesn't actually need a tiny AO - more testiment to the workmanship. L£350 well spent on the av.

Bixyl is a very respectable sort of fox and never goes around in just his fur, so clothing was the next quest. We didn't have far to go as there was a CatPaws vendor in the same space - these are delightful, quirky designs, well made with wonderful detailing, this was tough - so many choices. For humour value (and because Bixyl is practical as well as stylish) we chose the electicians outfit with toolbox and toolbelt. This was L$150 and worth every penny. if you don't believe just look at the pictures. Catpaws has a lot of outlets so just check Cat Masala's profile for details. To sum up for a mere 500 linden you can have a wonderful tiny av, complete in every way - and all of the highest quality if you go tiny. The over all opinion was highly flattering as Bixyl took me at my word and wore the av around and about for a while.

With many thanks to Bixyl Shuftan, who made this weeks challenge so much fun.

Styling your Secondlife with Firehorse

This week I styled a male av for L$500 from www.SLexchange.com.
Now the process of signing up is basically similar to last weeks signing up at www.onrez.com, go to the website, fill in the details, go to the email address you registered with to get your activation code, find a terminal in world (easier because the site has a massive list of terminals for you to tp to), activate your account and pay the terminal – now the money you deposited is available for use on the SLexchange site.
Personally I didn’t find SLexchange particularly easy to use, the search doesn’t seem very refined, and the site feel didn’t suit me. In the past I have had problems with SLexchange – or to be accurate, the people who sell on there – because of the ability to sell second hand goods I have seen freebies being sold for quite large amounts of money and I have, in the past been ripped off – the item I’ve bought being nothing like the description. To be fair this can happen even in world or on any other out of world shopping site and there are thousands of users who use SLexchange who have never had a problem. My other small niggle is that for some reason SLexchange doesn’t allow you to gift freebies. Right – on to the styling.

The first purchase was a Redford skin from Sane Krasins for L$40. Now this was a most pleasant surprise – this is actually a good skin, it has good facial detail and on the whole good body detail – the back of the skin looks a little odd and the hands lace any refinement. But having said that my guinea pig commented that this skin was at least as good if not better than the skin he regularly wears.
The next thing was the JPC Animation Overrider for men, sold by Jhary Priestly for L$49. If I were kind I’d say nothing – after all – you can’t have high expectations of an L$49 AO – but I am not kind and seeing how many wonderful cheap (and free) AO’s are available for women I had hoped that this would at least be an improvement on the duck walk. It wasn’t – not unless you want to look like a Thunder Birds puppet. It was so bad that my guinea pig was reluctant to put it on even to show me – he’d tried it at home and caused an outbreak of rather unkind laughter.
The next item was hair – and searching for cheap mens hair on SLexchange made my eyes bleed – I was a dozen pages in before I got past the various free demos – but for you dear reader, I persisted. As a fashion addict I know how much bad hair there is out there, as a mens stylist I know how rare good mens hair can seem so imagine my delight when low expectations were more then surpassed. I bought Cabelo Renegade from Lasher Oh for L$39. This is a lovely hair, well textured, well coloured and with a refreshing, young, devil-may-care feel. A bargain indeed – I have seen much, much worse mens hair for a lot more money – my only caveat is that it may need resizing to fit you properly – if this hair came in a choice of sized it would be perfect.
On to the clothes, and if clothes maketh the man, then we might be struggling but – hey – I love a challenge.
My first purchase was “man belted pants in brown” For L$100 from Patoula Yao.
They have some nice details, they aren’t outstanding but they are reasonable and for everyday wear they fit the bill.
Next was the Empire Dark Collar Shirt from Arron Dreadlow for L$30. This shirt is a bit of a must have for the price. The only flaw is it is too short if it isn’t changed so you walk around with a bare belly button – not wonderful.
My next purchase was a pair of Urban Shoes from Slworld Boa for L$10 – these are unlaced. Very well made, very well textured and a real bargain if the style suits you (the mother in me wanted to shout at my poor guinea pig to do his laces up and put his shoes on properly – I am just not hip and trendy!).
The next purchase was the *Karizma* Black Tuxedo, by Karmen Harris for L$125. This was a disappointment. The front of the jacket is beautifully detailed, but the back has an unfinished look and the trousers have no detail.
To go with the tuxedo I bought a pair of **MQ sculpted Men shoe black by Mira Questi for L$51. These were a reasonable attempt, sculpted shoes aren’t easy to make and although a brave attempt I couldn’t recommend these.
Next I ventured into swimwear. I bought a pair of FD Swim Trunks from Frisco Laguna for L$30. These were great – a good design that most men would be more than happy to wear on the beach – an unqualified success.
To finish the look I opted for a pair of sunglasses with a black frame from Zoltan Beck for L$10. These are well made and my only gripe is the lens are clear but never the less quite fetching, if a little bookish.
To conclude, this experiment was not a total success and I couldn’t, in good faith recommend anyone tries this for themselves. If you know what you want, or want to get ideas to shop for in world then SLexchange is a great tool, and I dare say we would have been more successful if we’d been doing the same experiment for a female avatar, but good menswear is hard to find at the best of times, and SLexchange (or any off world shopping site) probably isn’t the best place to try to get your look together.
Much thanks to Mr Neuron Bandit, my guinea pig for this article who was a good sport and didn’t object to anything I made him wear (except the AO).

Styling your Secondlife with Firehorse

This week we are going to explore something a little different. We are going to make a female avatar, with skin, AO and wardrobe, for L$500. But to make life a little more interesting we are going to get everything we need from www.onrez.com – just to see if it can be done.
First you will need to register, so go to the site and follow the sign up instructions, then hop inworld, go to onrez island and touch one of their boards so it knows who you are, here you will be give an onrez wallet which you put your lindens into – those lindens are now only available to you for use on the onrez site.
Now shopping this way has obvious advantages, not least of which being some designers sell of special items and clearance items either very cheaply or free. You can also get things which aren’t available inworld.
BUT – and here are the downsides, it can be very hard to tell exactly what you are buying, not every designer bothers putting a picture up and as we all know, with the aid of photoshop, the camera can lie.
First I started with the skin, it was tempting to go for the pixels spa skins that are on special offer – L$50 for a two option skin pack with a beautifully detailed face and skin tone, has got to be good, even if the body detail is a little lacking, but I felt this would be almost cheating, I know what I’d be getting, I have some pixel spa skins – so – I reluctantly passed those by and kept browsing. In the end I went for a Frick retro skin – a bargain for only L$10!
Next for the AO, this was slightly more difficult, because lets face it, a new walk is great but we spend a lot of time standing around and it’s nice to have a ladylike standing pose. The AO choices for L$100 or less was somewhat limited and I decided that really, a submissive AO isn’t for me, no matter how cheap it is so I opted for a *SHJL* AO for L$100.
Next hair..now hair is not something I would usually risk buying without demoing first, at least not without knowing the designer, and it has to be said on onrez there is a collection of ETD hair for under L$100 which are lovely and reliable, but this is an exercise in risk taking so, I jumped in blind and bought a fancy bun in blood red from Mae Best, it was L$10 so not a huge risk.
Now the body is sorted, and yes, I didn’t buy a shape, because my own shape is based on a readily available freebie that has had a certain amount of tweaking, yes I had a friend to help with that (great fun – standing naked with her shouting “Up a bit, no too far, down a bit”) but if I can do it anyone can.
Time for the fun stuff, I decided that a lady should have one casual out fit and one formal and of course SHOES! Have I mentioned I am a bit of a shoe addict??
No shortage of choice, in fact choice is a bit overwhelming but in the end I opted for an evening gown called 39 Goddess by Lovely Ackman for L$20 and GsBB system dress February by Gumi Yao (this series of outfits is designed to be mixed with each other) for L$75.
Shoe wise I played relatively safe – for most of this article I’ve tried to go for lesser known names but after over 100 pages of shoes which looked to be of very varying quality I opted for the simply sexy heels by Simone! L$150 with and without walk.
Now for the results, the Frick skin is excellent, one heavy-ish make up (unfortunately for me this was the only option with freckles) and one more elegant make up – body detail is acceptable – but that depends on how important it is to you – if you want to look stunning naked this may not be the skin for you but it is perfectly acceptable for a low cut dress and the skin has an almost china doll like translucence . Added bonus with the skin, which I didn’t realise when I bought it, it comes with a shape – so bouquets all around for the Frick skin.
The hair was slightly disappointing but for the price it is more than acceptable and the basic design is good.
The AO is fine , I have paid a lot more money for worse AO’s and this has some nice poses.
The formal evening dress has lovely textures (and gained me compliments when I wore it out and about). It also comes with earrings and armbands – the only thing I didn’t like was the scarf which looked big and bulky on the neck.
The GsBB dress is lovely – not only is it already a new favourite for me but I will be investing in the others in the series, it’s well made and sits well on the body.
The shoes are, of course, lovely, very classy and surprisingly high quality for the price.
So for a total spend of L$365 you can be all set to venture into SL – and lets face it a good week collecting from the money trees for the newbies or a good week camping or earning tips for the rest of us and you are all set . With the added advantage you can do it all without having to tp across the grid, worrying about being Ruthed or losing landmarks.

Styling your Second Life with Firehorse

This weeks styling your second life has been the most difficult for me to put together, this week I’ve approached the furry side of Second Life. I’ve always admired the many and various furry avs and, generally, I have got on very well with the furries I’ve met, but there is a noticeable separation of human/furry ways. As human you may be tolerated in furry places, but chances are you won’t feel like you quite fit, and as I found out, the same goes when you are wearing fur in places aimed mostly at human avs.
Furry is a lifestyle choice I am not sure I totally understand, but then I don’t quite get the impulse that makes people be dragons, tinies or robots – it’s not a judgement thing, I just don’t get it. I admire the avs, (and now the nerve) that these choices involve but it just isn’t me.
Having said that it is lots of fun and with a bit of searching you can pick up quite a lot of furry stuff for free – it isn’t always as easy to find as the other freebies we’ve looked at but it is there and if you are polite I’ve found the furry community are happy to help. Once people knew I was looking I had several offers of free avs from individuals but if you are shy then there are places to pick them up.
There are free avs at Sarah Nerds NineInchFreebies (see sarah nerds profile picks for the landmark). Here you will find Grendels Childrens Ja Ja Binks “furry” av, amongst other bits and pieces. Also there is a huge box of over seventy free furry avatars at the Northstar Mall (warning this is not a PG mall) as well as a good selection of very cute avatars at Waggytails II.
Once you are snug in your fur vist Luskwood – not only are the people there very friendly and welcoming but the sim is absolutely beautiful – one of the most entrancing places I’ve visited.
I asked what groups are good for people who are new to the furry lifestyle to join and got a few suggestions, the luskwood group, rocket city group and the NorthStar group (again be warned this group is not always PG).
As you can see my kitty was rather lovely ( the first time in my SL I haven’t been a red head) and drew lots of admiring comments.

Going furry feels like a big step if you are usually human on SL but take the chance, it is a wonderful experience – a whole different community to explore and as I say, a very welcoming one. Yes, FurNation can be a bit intimidating for people new to the life style – yes it isn’t PG, but if you can cope with the banter and the leg pulling then you will be quickly made welcome and as I said I can not praise highly enough the good folk at Luskwood, the welcome is warm and before long you will forget your misgivings and be enjoying one of the wonderful alternative lifestyles that Second Life allows us to experience.

Styling your Secondlife with Firehorse

This weeks Styling your Second Life is late (again, I hear you cry), but not because I am a dreadful slacker but because actually free tiny items are relatively rare – I have tried to make it a rule in these articles to write about freebies that are usually available at the locations I give you – no point in writing about a wonderful freebie that may well have been taken down by the time you read about it.
It isn’t true that being tiny is expensive, in fact the opposite is true – with a little care and membership of one or two good groups I am assured that you can have a full tiny avatar, with AO (pretty much a must have I discovered), toys and a wardrobe for a couple of hundred linden – but if you want a taste of the lifestyle, or a tiny av for a one off event you might want to do it on the cheap.
Join a tiny group if you have room, if you really, really don’t have the room, make friends with someone who is experienced in the world of tiny – many of the tiny shops and designers do have limited time special offers and freebies.
In the mean time here are three places you MUST visit if you want the tiny experience. Huggys Coffee House and Hug*Mart. Lots of free tiny stuff - toys for the tiny curious - even poses/animations. The Blackmoon tiny clothes (female) are from here. They also run a very friendly group which I am assured is well worth joining if you are just getting started in the world of tiny.
􀀁MOMO’S Pet 1 There are about a dozen free tiny avs here - all showing as being for sale at $L250 but which are free - see the cute fox I got (yes I know – it really doesn’t suit me – but hey it was fun and gave a lot of my friends a good laugh) - also a selection of cats, wolves and assorted others - although I have to say the monkey av isn't exactly tiny.
The Raglan Shire Wharf and Coastal has many delightful things to see and do as well as free tiny clothes, furniture and posters . Take a wander round and look at this lovely area - perfectly scaled for tinies. Again I have had this area has a group and I am assured that it is a group well worth joining.
Next week I am going furry for free – if any reader can point me in the direction of hidden gems I should publicise (or give me any help at all really) please get in touch.

Styling your Secondlife with Firehorse

This week's article is about none human avs - not tiny, not furry, just not human.
Now before I go into the details the pictures are of me wearing the chocobo from Enkythings and the Beaver from Grndel's Children. Now on with the article.

Gamersbrand feebies have several free avs. Various free mech avs for those of you robotically minded. Also a free potato head Av (with full permissions) and a giant eyeball av with full permissions. Here too you can find all sorts of clothes, jewelry and toys for human avs.

Freebie Dungeon has all sorts of great stuff, as well as male and female shapes, clothes and all the usual stuff this store has a box with 13 assorted fantasy avatar shapes ( a nice mix of male and female) and the rather sweet (and readily available from many places). Psyra's triceratops av.

Enkythings is rightly famous for it's high quality dollerbies and freebies (as well as it's more expensive shoes...did I mention I'm a shoe addict?) but I digress here you can find a plethera of wonderful avatars - from south park avatars to darleks - some are free - some are 1 linden.
I have, I admit save the very best until last - Grendel's children have some absolutely fab free avs - some are a whole linden dollar, some are free - all are an absolutely stunning quality. In the picture I am modeling the beaver - but only because it was more fun showing people the beaver than the everso cute (and large enough to be slightly disturbing) ladybug. Ladies - there are hours of purile, childish fun to be had asking random people on your friends list if they want to see your beaver. There are so many free avs scattered around at Grendel's that it would take far too long to list them - but they are all of the high quality that Grendels is rightly famous for. I was lucky enough to meet Flea Bussy when I first came into SL, not only one of the most talented people it's been my pleasure to encounter, but also touchingly kind to a bedazzled newbie and extremely witty. All the staff at Grendel's are blessed with the patience of saints - as long as you are polite and stick to the sim rules they will talk for hours about the avatars and other things they have for sale. These people deserve respect, so please, remember - you might be lost (it's a large place) you might be confused, you may even be a bit freaked out by having a dragon wish you good day or have a horse ask if you'd mind sitting on them so they can adjust their new saddle - but BE POLITE - this is one of the friendliest places on SL, help keep it that way by being nice.

Style your Secondife with Firehorse

Todays article is late – for which I apologise – blame a certain SL wedding and a certain RL child deleting all my word documents by accident…Children – aren’t they just darling?
Anyway – today will be brief – mens freebies are harder to find than ladies – a lot of mens stores do special one off free gifts for men – join a good freebie group for more updates.
As mentioned last week Free Dove have mens stuff as well as womens items, also you should check out Sarah Nerd’s freebie paradise has some good items for all sorts of avs – more of this place next week.
IZUMIYA ,at MoonCat Ringo has freebies upstairs for men and women - good quality cheap stuff down stairs
Calla has free hair for newbies and a "jack" and "Jill"boxes which are complete avs for new people.
Also pick up a freebie box for male and female at the G spot cafe
and also the huge freebie boxees for men at SL- newspapers head office – the style your sl box there is all mens stuff and has a lot of full perm shapes as well as a choice of skins. I put it together myself – a lot of the items in this box are sold but as I got ‘em for free I’m willing to forgo profit for the joy of seeing SL a prettier place one male av at a time.
Also pick up a freebie box for male and female at the G spot café.
Freebie street is well worth a visit, not only are there bags of clothing for both male and female but lots of fun gadgets and toys (and boys love their toys – right?)
Hair is probably one of the hardest things for male avs to find – but as well as calla, ETD has very good quality almost free (ONE LINDEN guys – give me a break!).
Right – that’s it for now – more info in the note card at the newspaper head office.

Styling your Second Life with Firehorse

Styling an avatar for free is easy – and something we have probably all done at one time or another.
Probably we all had a trawl around freebie warehouse and other such giant outlets when we were newbies, and, chances are we ended up with some sad fashion disasters.
Fellow residents, it does not have to be that way!
With a little help, a little inside knowledge and membership of just one group (just one of your oh so valuable group slots), you can save a fortune, try new things and have a huge amount of fun.
Today I am focusing on female avatars – but a lot of the knowledge is transferable to other genders/styles of av.
By no means is this a complete guide but it’s intended to be a good starting point, so if you are new or if you just need an outfit for a fancy dress party join me.
Ladies, your first stop in world should be to Pixel Dolls, find their subscribe-o-matic join, then touch again for history – there is a VIP group gift, crammed full of lovely lovely things, boots, outfits and an absolutely divine, high quality skin in many shades.
Your next move should be to find somewhere quiet and decide which group for freebie hunters you are going to join – personally I love Creamy Cooljokes Freestyle group – as with any freebie group you will get a LOT of notices most days – don’t worry though soon you will be as addicted as I am to just going to look…I don’t care what anyone says – you can NOT have too many clothes.
Once you have done that you need to get yourself down to Free Dove – much respect to the owners – what they have done is just amazing, here you will find freebies gathered from some of the top designers in second life, all under one roof – YES you will have to fight the lag, yes, if you go at one of the peak rush hours you will probably crash and/or freeze but it IS worth it. Here you can find everything from jeans and lovely girly sneakers to elegant Victorian dresses and delicate stiletto shoes. Plenty of jewelry, sexy underwear, skins and a host of shapes too – if you don’t follow any other advice from this article, even if you haven’t picked up a freebie since you were more than a week old, get down to Free Dove and be amazed. Free Dove also have their own group too – if I had more room I’d join (PLEASE LL, more groups, PLEASE).
As you have just crashed from ALL the loveliness you have found at Free Dove open up a web browser or two.
The best way to get a full picture is to jump on the interweb.
First of all if you aren’t already registered at http://www.onrez.com/ then you should be – here you can send yourself (and others) freebies, you can search by price, and there are some great bargains to be had – after all – you can’t get much cheaper than free.
Your next stop should be http://fabfree.wordpress.com/freebie-break-down/ a fantastic list of outlets which carry free stuff, many of whom are my favourite stores (if you haven’t been to http://slfreestyle.blogspot.com/ where Creamy and friends will not only be alerting you to todays best (and usually transient) freebies there are pictures too!
This article was supposed to be a short one – but that isn’t possible – here I have just managed to scratch the surface of what you can get. So if you have something you desperately need but can’t afford to pay for, or can’t find, drop me a notecard, if I can help I will – but seriously – if you follow the advice in this article you will be turned from Cinderella to a princess in just a few tps.

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Art always imitates life. As the temperatures plummet for so many of us in RL, the designers of SL are hard at work keeping us stylishly warm this winter.
To keep our avatars delightfully cozy, Migi Voom of Muism has created a jacket so detailed and delicious that I wont mind those chilly days ahead. Lovingly rendered in a buttery suede with a smart asymmetrical line, it features a prim fox fur collar that is sure to please. Shown here is the jacket and vest in black. It is also available are beige, brown, red, white, leopard gray and leopard brown, with each lovely prim collar color coordinated to match. The vest looks wonderful alone, or over your favorite turtleneck sweater for a chic look. This is just one of the many beautiful jackets and coats available at Migi Voom’s Muism right now.

I Catch up with Simone

My first reaction when I rezzed at Simones was to LOL, why? Well you walk into a huge notice which not everyone saw the funny side of, but the reason behind it is understandable too :-

Simone Stern: I had to do something... people were driving me nuts over not knowing how to use the vendors.
(Lesson to be learned - read the notices and learn how to use a vendor LOL)
Simone was wearing one of the special outfits she devised for Halloween and it looked fantastic on her.
As I looked around I noticed the huge changes to the store since my last visit, "You have remodelled the store?" I asked Simone
"Partially, it's still underway. I'm going to have to put up a second sim, the formals need their own home I am afraid". She replied "Still quite a bit to finish before the remodel is through however."
Simone wasn't sure on a finish date but reassured me 'the grand opening for the new store will be announced, and we'll make sure there's a big fat THANK YOU sale as well... might even combine that with my third SL reziversary :D'
There are 200 new items in the new 'fall line' so far, with redesigning the store plus the new lines I am amazed yet again at how many hours Simone finds and yet she still finds time to help others with the Virtual Angels a group dedicated to helping others.
I asked her about it: Simone Stern: "it's a charity originally started to benefit one SL resident, but as we came to realize there was a much greater need, it has expanded. We have applied for official status so that's pending."
Below you can see some of the designs for Halloween the 'hexed' sexy witch range are irresistible there are other outfits ranged around the store like the 'Doctor'
"Most interesting thing is to watch the gender bias in place... people see the scrubs, the lab coat, and think 'Nurse". So, it's named 'DOCTOR" for that reason."
There is also a morticia style gown, its worth taking your time and looking around.
I had also heard that Simones was featured in the recent CSI machinima and asked her how that came about;
Simone Stern: "I work for the company who did the project the machinima department selected my store to shoot in for convenience's sake, for many reasons. Easy to get the owner to help, easy to make changes to the build and displays if necessary, easy to get the land owner to close the island, etc. That little bit of machinima you saw was months in the making."
All through the changes and total upheaval the one thing I was most impressed with was Simone's willingness to help anyone that asked, all through our conversation people were asking questions or looking for something in particular, all went away happy with what they found.
Good luck Simone - can't wait to see the finished store.

What to wear for naughty schoolgirl and bad boy event...

Some great outfits here and just a little bit different too

sure loved dressing up for this one LOL
obviously a short skirt was a must for the girls and stockings or long socks, it was a lot of fun. But what about the guys - hmm some made a real effort with this event and i loved this one -
Great tunes and great outfits HOT event!
